Journal Quilts 2007
As a new member of the Contemporary Group of the Quilters' Guild of the Britis Isles, the first challenge was to create a journal quilt every month.
With these little pieces (21 x 29cm) I really tried to experiment and to combine new techniques, different textiles, media and stitch.
I did a lot of travelling throughout 2007, so after starting at home in my garden with 'Hellebores'
I took my visits (and those of friends) to different cities and countries as source mnaterial and inspiration.
